Another notable healer class in Vanguard: Shadow of Heroes (VSoH) is Shaman who gains their natural powers by way of communion with the spirits of Telon. As a spiritual defensive caster, they have the awesome ability to use the powers of their ancestors in order to perform greater feats of healing and protection to help other people from danger and also death.
They can also form very close bonds with powerful animal spirits to give healing and melee support and to gain access to deadly spells, animal servants and many more talents. Shamans are highly rated as a very special class in that they have the innate capability to transform themselves into a wide variety of dangerous wild beasts like a raging bear, a cunning wolf or even brilliant phoenix.
Like the Cleric class, Shamans are based on healing and supporting their members a party at the same time in battle. At level 15, this healing-based class can specialize much further, either into a spell caster, healer, or melee variant. Of course they also have very good buffs to cure other group members. For their protective equipment, shamans wear medium armor, favor spears and crushing destructive weapons of all varieties to smash al their opponents onto the grounds.
