The fox-like Raki are one of the playable races living on the vast continent of Kojan. They have the appearance exactly like bipedal foxes and are one of Vanguard: Saga of Heroe's three anthropomorphic races, alongside the Kura and Vulmane races. They live with the Wood Elves in the deep jungles of Kojan.
These two races always have a very intimate relationship and alliance in the wilderness. The reclusive Wood Elves took in the fox-people into their settlement of Ca'ial Brael and enabled them to start building a new life for themselves. The Raki have given as much as they have taken, nevertheless, they established a bond with the Wood Elves to prevent the elven forest from Ulvari incursions.
While not being often taken seriously by many, due to their small size and animal-like apperance, they have always proven that they are full of swiftness and resourcefulnesss to attain their goals or even eliminate their foes in battle. Despite having some disadvantges in physical attributes, they have many other talents to make up for them and also have a great connection to an internal power source, known as Jin.
