The best and closest way to help you get to a Free Trial is certainly the beta test. All you need to do is go and sign up for the forums at website (www.vanguardsoh.com) and you will get an application to join the beta test at the begining of a new phase.
Once the game is launched, the game producers and developers Sigil release a demo version enabling all its players to try out a limited version of the game for free. This is not very common with any other MMORPGs on the market.
One thing that will be available to players, of course, there will be a free trial period for their subscription to the game, but this free trial will only come with the purchase of the VSoH game. As with most MMORPGs, Sigil will hand out a month of free play after you buy the game.
